Collect Waste to Wealth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

There are several ways of collecting waste – as a trash collector where you have to collect people’s trash for a fee after which you go the whole hog of recycling. On the other hand  you can opt for recycling and still collect what people no longer have use for such as furniture, cookware, electronics, books, toys and what have you and pay a token for them, knowing that you will make a lot of money from what is left after you recycle. You can also beg to collect such items though that is not an option I support as I do not believe in begging.

Waste collection is big business that if well managed generates millions and billions to people who understand the business. As you collect these items, be on the lookout for rare and beautiful treasures. Rarity makes it highly sought after as it places a great demand that cannot be met on it; thereby increasing the value and the price.

Beauty gives aesthetic appeal which further enhances value, desirability and quest for the item or items. Beauty or the aesthetic appeal makes it pleasant and very valuable. It is precious because it is rare and beautiful but difficult to find. That way you make money. But if it is regular stuff that is available everywhere, then you have not collected money stuff.

I for instance love jewelry and have over the years collected simple but beautiful and inexpensive pieces at very little costs. I am not a metal jewelry person but I collect indigenous pieces made from wood, local gemstones and sell at good prices. This has put money in my pocket when the money was urgently required to meet urgent needs.

You can also acquire quality world class jewelry at little cost and they can be traded for good money. For instance, you can collect and invest in jewelry made from wood. Organize jewelry into what you need to wear and what to leave in your heir loom for generational wealth as well as what you need to trade off now to acquire more valuable items that you need now.

There are other items which can be traded for good money.

Look what God has done and is still doing. If God helped me to collect valuable assets even when I was unaware of what I was doing; supposedly ignorant and did not know the value of what I was collecting; then how much more valuable assets will I collect now that by the Holy Spirit of God, I am a little to sufficiently aware of value because the Holy Spirit daily teaches me! Incredible assets; particularly the spiritual assets, and the intangible assets which God is daily translating into huge tangible and immovable assets.

Beloved, start collecting whatever is of interest to you NOW. Get as much information as you can about such items and ensure you collect what is appealing, what is really really beautiful and exciting. You will definitely make money not by might nor by power but by His Spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Shalom.

Design Your Way to Wealth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Look, I have specifically chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.  He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze. He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft! “And I have personally appointed Aholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to be his assistant. Moreover, I have given special skill to all the gifted craftsmen so they can make all the things I have commanded you to make: Exodus Chapter 31 verses 1 to 6, NLT.

“The Lord has gifted Bezalel, Aholiab, and the other skilled craftsmen with wisdom and ability to perform any task involved in building the sanctuary. Let them construct and furnish the Tabernacle, just as the Lord has commanded.” So Moses summoned Bezalel and Aholiab and all the others who were specially gifted by the Lord and were eager to get to work.  Moses gave them the materials donated by the people of Israel as sacred offerings for the completion of the sanctuary. But the people continued to bring additional gifts each morning.  Finally the craftsmen who were working on the sanctuary left their work. They went to Moses and reported, “The people have given more than enough materials to complete the job the Lord has commanded us to do!” So Moses gave the command, and this message was sent throughout the camp: “Men and women, don’t prepare any more gifts for the sanctuary. We have enough!” So the people stopped bringing their sacred offerings. Their contributions were more than enough to complete the whole project. Exodus Chapter 36 verses 1 to 7, NLT.

Then Moses told the people of Israel, “The Lord has specifically chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. The Lord has filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.  He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze. He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft. And the Lord has given both him and Aholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others. The Lord has given them special skills as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet thread on fine linen cloth, and weavers. They excel as craftsmen and as designers. Exodus Chapter 35 verses 30 to 35, NLT.

A good woman is hard to find,    and worth far more than diamonds. Her husband trusts her without reserve,    and never has reason to regret it. Never spiteful, she treats him generously all her life long. She shops around for the best yarns and cottons, and enjoys knitting and sewing.  She’s like a trading ship that sails to faraway places and brings back exotic surprises. She’s up before dawn, preparing breakfast for her family and organizing her day. She looks over a field and buys it, then, with money she’s put aside, plants a garden. First thing in the morning, she dresses for work, rolls up her sleeves, eager to get started. She senses the worth of her work, is in no hurry to call it quits for the day. She’s skilled in the crafts of home and hearth, diligent in homemaking. She’s quick to assist anyone in need, reaches out to help the poor. She doesn’t worry about her family when it snows; their winter clothes are all mended and ready to wear. She makes her own clothing, and dresses in colorful linens and silks. Her husband is greatly respected when he deliberates with the city fathers. She designs gowns and sells them, brings the sweaters she knits to the dress shops. Her clothes are well-made and elegant, and she always faces tomorrow with a smile. When she speaks she has something worthwhile to say, and she always says it kindly. She keeps an eye on everyone in her household,    and keeps them all busy and productive. Her children respect and bless her;    her husband joins in with words of praise: “Many women have done wonderful things, but you’ve outclassed them all!” Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades. The woman to be admired and praised is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God. Give her everything she deserves! Adorn her life with praises! Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 10 to 31.

Create a Product/Service

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The unnamed virtuous woman of Proverbs Chapter 31 is indeed an amazon when it comes to entrepreneurship. Deploying skills which about every woman acquired as girls (sewing and knitting) she became a garment and accessories manufacturer, an enterprise from which she made sufficient money to buy land to plant a vineyard. In essence, she diversified her business – she ventured into agriculture – planting and processing. She planted the vineyard to source raw materials with which to produce wine.

Beloved, I suggest that you read and study Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 10 to 31 for insight into how this very diligent and very well organized woman conducted her business – the sourcing of the materials for the garment industry, the choice of quality materials, the marketing and sales of her products, the organization of her workers and her own personal discipline.

King Solomon became extremely wealthy not just because he was King in Israel but because he deployed his God given wisdom to profit. He traded the wisdom in great measure for money – 1st Kings Chapters 3 verse 12; 4 verses 29 to 34; 10 verses 24 to 29, 2nd Chronicles Chapter 9 verses 23 to 24. He also engaged in other businesses which increased his wealth.

Lady Lydia sold purple and made good money from doing so. She supported the work of the kingdom with her resources. Please read Acts Chapter 16 verses 13 to 15. If she was like the idle women described in 1st Timothy Chapter 5 verses 11 to 15, she would not have money to support herself not to talk of supporting the preaching of the gospel.

The widow of the indebted prophet paid off a family debt that would have culminated in debt slavery for her two sons by bottling oil and selling the packaged oil. With a product as simple as oil packaged into the right vessels and marketed and sold to the right audience, she put an end to a family history of indebtedness, borrowing, begging and lack. She rewrote the family history bringing in positivity and obliterating negativity. She chose to obey God – work with her hands and she earned income. She refused to pile on fresh debt or take to begging. As she, alongside her two sons worked (which is biblical – 1st Thessalonians Chapter 4 verses 11 to 12, 2nd Thessalonians Chapter 3 verses 6 to 15, Deuteronomy Chapters 28 verses 8, 11 to 13; 24 verse 19; 23 verse 20; 11 verses 8 to 15, Ecclesiastes Chapter 9 verse 10, Proverbs Chapters 19 verse 15, 20 verse 4 and 14 verse 23), the money which had hitherto elude the family came into their hands and they not only became debt free, they also had personal income to live on. Please read 2nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 1 to 7.

Rick Warren wrote and published great life transforming books and made good money from them. Don Moen sang great songs celebrating the greatness of God in the land of the living. Bishop T.D. Jakes has a good number of books and other materials through which he makes money.

Step Out of Confinement 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Beloved, your abundance may just be around the corner and you are busy searching for it in the stratosphere wishing you could get help from the world when all you need is to just DARE, DARE to step out of your supposed comfort zone into that which terrifies you so that you take what rightly belongs to you without any stress, without any pressure, without any intimidation from anyone because God to Whom all power belongs has taken care of the opposition you dread.

So why don’t you rise confidently now and take that which belongs to you? May God in His infinite power send you all the help you need; ahead of you, now and forever in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

God is always able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ever need in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Believe Him, trust Him and follow His leading carefully in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You will not fail, you will not stumble in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Remember that the sword which David used in cutting off the head of Goliath did not come from the stratosphere. It was within easy reach, by the side of the fallen Goliath; Goliath’s own sword which came down with Goliath. David had no sword, only a sling and his five smooth stones. But when it became necessary to deploy a sword, he used Goliath’s oversized sword and did what he had to do with the sword.  Beloved, ask God to open your eyes of understanding to the opportunities around you for you to harvest abundant resources.

The three allied nations against Judah were not attacked by heavenly beings as in the case of the army of Sennecherib. They were the ones who used their personal resources and weapons to attack and kill one another until the very last man of them was eliminated. The Judeans praised God and looked on as the three allied nations who had threatened to destroy the Judeans destroyed one another. And as a bonus, the Judeans harvested the great booty of war left by the three allied armies. Significantly, the carting of the loot by the Judeans took three days. This shows how great the loot was. What was originally scripted as destruction of the Judeans by the three allied armies turned out to be the enrichment of the Judeans. It also was an opportunity for their faith in God to be strengthened more than the ordinary for they saw with their own eyes the destruction of the wicked and the sudden transfer of the wealth of the wicked to the children of Judah.

Step Out of Confinement

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Take on your enemies. Challenge your oppressor, break the siege, dare your oppressor.

The people of Samaria suffered the consequences of an unnecessary famine which unfortunately had progressed to cannibalism as some of the citizens of Samaria had taken to eating their children. Apart from being enraged, the King of Samaria was also depressed when he heard about it. Unfortunately, he also acted like the people of Samaria. How? Rather than talk to God about the situation, he threatened to remove the head of the prophet Elisha as if that would put an end to the famine.

But Elisha who heard the threat of the King by the Spirit of God in his house acted by the Spirit of God and spoke abundant food resources into existence. Elisha prophesied abundance, not in a year’s time, not in a month’s time, not in a week’s time; but the following day. How do you suddenly contain a famine which had raged on for some time the following day when you had not ordered food resources from people or nations who had the military prowess to subdue the Syrian army who had successfully laid the siege against Israel which of course culminated in the famine? This probably explains why the official of the King despised the prophecy of Elisha about the sudden abundance of food resources the following day.

But unknown to the official of the King, God’s ways are not the ways of man. To start with, God created the entire world and the heavens and therefore owns everything; and because all power belongs to Him alone, He can do whatever He likes with that power; usually for the benefit of His children who cry to Him for help; who believe in Him and trust in Him to help them. So just across the road, between the securely locked gates of Samaria and the camp of the Syrian was the abundance; quite significant and instructive, a great abundance of not only food resources, money, clothing and you name it; waiting patiently for the people of Samaria to have as much as they required. But the people of Samaria were already cowed into hiding by the threats of the Syrian army. So they could not dare across the road into that abundance.

So they starved and the ones who could no longer bear the hunger ate up their children. But four young men, lepers who begged for a living at the gates of Samaria became very hungry and dared to go beyond the gates of Samaria to the camp of the Syrian army. Perhaps, it was the gnawing hunger or just the boldness to dare. But whatever it was, they dared and in daring they discovered the abundant resources God had in stock for the people of Samaria. The abundant food and other resources were not in the stratosphere, were not miles away but within easy reach; just across the road.

Open Your Eyes 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Open your eyes to see the enlarged territories God has for you. Jacob dreamt while serving in the house of Laban. What Jacob saw in this dream is very important as it impacted his life in Haran. How? He did not settle for less; serving Laban all the days of his life as Laban had thought when he kept stringing Jacob along.

Unknown to Laban, Jacob had great dreams, dreams beyond Laban’s house, to build the nation God promised him. See aright, hear aright and you will fulfill purpose.

Jacob’s dream in Genesis Chapter 31 verses 10 to 11 is therefore very significant. The dream he had of the flocks sustained him and gave him the ideas with which he grew his flock and left Laban’s house enriched and enlarged.

It is time to open your eyes wide so that you can break every ceiling over your life. Stop feeding on crumbs and go for the real stuff. Let go of every self-imposed limitation that looks like you cannot grow beyond a certain level in life. You are bigger than what you think or imagine. Therefore, let go of that small fry mentality and become who God created you to be from the foundation of the world.

Stop scrambling for AID. Rather, give AID for that is what you were born to do. Give AID, employ people to earn income, teach people to make and create wealth.

Grow YOU – spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, etc. the worst thing you can do to yourself is to become or get comfortable with AID. You do not need it anymore. Getting comfortable with AID puts limits on you, the limits God did not place on you. If Abraham had not separated from Lot on account of strife between their herdsmen over natural resource allocation, Abraham would never have seen the limitless possibilities for the abundant wealth God in store for him.

Open Your Eyes

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly [places], 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all [things] under his feet, and gave him [to be] the head over all [things] to the church,  23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Ephesians Chapter 1 verses 15 to 23.

You should open your eyes – to see the huge opportunities God put at your disposal; to see the great possibilities God blessed you with; to tap into the greatness which God blessed you with from the foundation of the world; to take advantage of the myriad blessings of God in your life.

Additionally, so that you will see wondrous things from the law, visions, revelations of glory from the word of God. Please read Psalm 119 verse 18. It is significant and instructive that the Psalmist prayed that God should turn his eyes from looking at worthless things - things that would not add value to his mental processes, would not give him knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Please read Psalm 119 verse 37. He asked for revival, revival comes from consistently looking at the word of God   and in the process, a person gets fresh insight from the word of God to see possibilities. Perhaps that explains why Job made a covenant with his eyes – Job Chapter 31 verse 1.

To open your eyes may not necessarily mean the physical opening of your eyes though that may be necessary if your eyes were closed on account of sleep or any other reason. It simply means that you school yourself to see beyond the ordinary, to be perceptive, to understand the import of what you see, what you hear, what you smell, what you taste, what you feel; to take advantage of privileged information at your disposal which God in His infinite mercy gave you in advance of other people so that you can quickly deploy such information for profit.

Elisha’s servant was not physically blind. That explains why he saw the horde of the Syrian army who surrounded them. Naturally, he was afraid and cried out to his master Elisha. But Elisha who could see beyond the ordinary because God had opened his spiritual eyes of understanding to see the great army of God around them counseled the young man not to be afraid. Elisha further prayed for the young man’s eyes to be opened. The Bible records that God answered immediately and opened the eyes of the young man to see God’s horses and chariots of fire that also surrounded them and shielded them from the horde of the Syrian army. Please read 2nd Kings Chapter 6 verses 8 to 17, Zechariah Chapter 2 verses 4 to 13, Proverbs Chapter 18 verse 10, Psalms 121, 124, 125 verses 1 to 3 and 91.

Are you in need of economic resources, divine protection and security? Ask God to open your eyes of understanding so that you can see the huge potentials and blessings of God at your disposal. Open your eyes; look around; look north, south, east and west; and take note of everything you see, Please read Genesis Chapter 13 verses 14 to 17.
